Itinerary
This is the usual plan. As the tour is private, we can adapt the timing and the stops to your wishes and to the season.
Day 1: Pick-up and Kem Kem Fossil Beds
Your guide meets you at your hotel or desert camp in Merzouga in the morning. After a short briefing, you drive in the 4×4 to the Kem Kem fossil area, where you search the ground for fossils such as teeth and bones, with your guide showing you what to look for.
Day 1: Mineral Sites and Lunch
Visit nearby mineral sites where crystals such as vanadinite, hematite and galena can be seen. Stop for a traditional lunch and rest before the afternoon.
Day 1 Evening: Desert Camp, Dinner and Night
